XTango is back!

After a long absence that was started by you-know-what and then made longer because we had no idea what we wanted to do about restarting our tango socials, XTango is coming back!

But this time we will be doing things a little differently. XTango is going on the road as we bring the magic of our neotango fusion events to a location near you. All the details will be posted here, along with where the next event will be and how to book tickets.

We are planning on running all sorts of different events, from small XTango Socials held semi-regularly at venues associated with our classes, to much larger XTango Neolongas at bigger venues and with more to offer.But for now we are going to start small with a few XTango Socials to get people back into the mood.

Neotango

Meaning simply 'New Tango', neotango is the modern expression of the dance we all love. It is the same tango that you learn at your local class wherever you are, but you may find that we dance to music that might not be quite what you are used to.

Not all tango has to be traditional. Tango codigos which may have made sense in 1930s Buenos Aires are less relevant now and can detract from the dance experience rather than support it.
